About the Owner & History

Pink Rubies was established in February 2017 as a children's boutique by Amber Mange Walden.

She is a graduate of Alexandria High School.

Amber earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Social Psychology/Biology.  Prior to starting Pink Rubies, she worked in medical sales.

She has been married to Jon Walden for nineteen years. 

Jon is a graduate of Wellborn High School.  He has worked in radio for over 20 years and is the General Manager/On-Air Host at Revocation Radio.

They have 3 children and Pink Rubies is named after their daughter.  

Pink Rubies was an online boutique from 2017-2021.

In August 2021, Pink Rubies moved into a storefront in Alexandria, AL.

In August 2024, Pink Rubies expanded to offer Women's Clothing.

In September 2024, Custom Designs & Sports Clothing was added.
